Team Summary

Prior to this, Aravind has worked at Greenlight Planet, TechnoServe and McKinsey. At Greenlight Planet, Aravind set up and headed the Asia Partnerships Vertical with annual revenues of USD 8 mn (2014). He has significant experience of working with SMEs, mainly distributors and small transporters. He holds a undergraduate degree in Economics from Delhi University

Shimul has previously worked at Greenlight Planet and ZS Associates. He set up and headed the Sales Strategy and Operations functions at Greenlight Planet. He was responsible for expanding GLPs distribution network from ~100 micro-entrepreneurs to ~6000 micro-entrepreneurs spanning ~25K villages in multiple countries. Cowry is a platform for GST compliance, Actionable Insights and Business Enablers for Indian SMEs, with seamless integration with various accounting packages. With user / role specific access, Actionable Insights can be delivered straight to the end-user on their mobile devices.

We have commercial agreements with 2 GSPs (GSTN Licensees) and will have access to the GSTN through their Servers and APIs. Tax credit mismatch resolution / reconciliation will take place on the platform itself, thereby creating a network effect.

We are looking to raise USD 500K to USD 1 mn to be used for product development and marketing.
