Job Description
AdSparx is looking for an experienced Technical Architect who is well versed in backend technologies and has experience in building high performance scalable backend systems.  

Responsibilities
Designing horizontally and vertically scalable backend architecture for AdSparx solution:
  • Optimization: Optimize the systems to handle millions of requests per day.
  • Database: Table design, SQL query optimization, stored procedures, NoSQL databases, in memory data stores
  • Frontend: Defining Front end Experience with leading CSS and JS frameworks to deliver world class user experience
  • Architecture: Design end-to-end solutions for customer problems, from database to User interface 
  • Automation: Automate internal as well as customer facing workflow processes
  • Monitoring: Build tools to track system health and test various components of the ad server product
  • Innovation: Come up with solutions to a wide variety of problems in scalability, real time reporting, load balancing
Requirements
  • About 3-5 years of Experience in building high performance scalable backend systems
  • B.E./B.Tech/MCA from a reputed institute with good academic performance
  • Deep knowledge of PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, MVC patterns
  • Should be comfortable with creating and using HTTP APIs with XML/JSON response
  • Familiarity with iPhone/Android/Windows Phone platforms is a plus

Server Engineer Software Engineer, Hardware Engineer

Job Description
You are part of the product design team. Your primary job is to design server architecture which scales the product and helps achieve the best performance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Designing server configuration for high scalability and availability of the product 
  2. Configuring and installing Linux packages particularly streaming servers, apache and web servers, custom software, load balancers, to build a horizontally and vertically scalable configuration
  3. Devise techniques for monitoring live systems using tools like awstats, jconsole, customized scripts etc
  4. Work with the engineering team and design & conduct exhaustive tests for every software release and monitor server performance. 
  5. Updating installation docs as required
  6. Extracting out data by writing simple queries for mysql db, taking backups of db, taking image dump of wowza servers, root cause analysis by analyzing logs etc.
  7. Find out ways to optimize bottlenecks in ad serving system
Required

  1. At-least 2 years experience working as Linux system admin managing production servers
  2. Exposure to wowza streaming server, apache and web servers, load balancers will be a huge plus point
  3. Good exposure to writing shell scripts on Linux, repository management and basic familiarity to compiling C/Java programs
  4. Experience with AWS, Azure and other cloud computing platforms
  5. Exposure to mysql and familiarity with writing mysql scripts
  6. Excellent grasp over text searching tools like grep,awk,sed, etc
  7. Clarity in thought process and communication 
  8. Inclination to work in a startup with informal and fast paced work environment
  9. Familiarity in writing scripts, cron jobs, etc will be added advantage
