Traffic signals in India are countdown timer based systems: Traffic Police Department sets timers based on which the signals operate.

Our traffic is highly unpredictable & preset timers are just a rough approximation at best, which means:
1. Unnecessary congestion during rush hours.
2. Painfully long waiting time in lean hours.

Moreover, since the signals are not synchronized, it often happens that one has to stop at every traffic intersection on the way. This is a killer, especially during times of emergency.

LISA replaces preset timer based signal system with a density based traffic management system. It uses image processing to count vehicle density in a lane and turns signals on/off accordingly.
LISA is a modular product that will be used with the existing infrastructure in almost every intersection all over the country. It compactly fits into old and new systems alike to provide futuristic results.It can identify and differentiate among emergency & regular vehicles pedestrians.
