Team Summary

Aditya Mehta is the Founder & Creative Director of Art & Found. Seven years in advertising working with firms like Ogilvy & Mather gave him an opportunity to work with some of the most talented artists across the creative industry. This gave him perspective into a disorganised artist community that deserved better intrinsic and monetary value. Art & Found was born with a need to empower the artist community.

Core Team

Rohini Kejriwal is the Social Media Community Manager for Art & Found. She is a writer and photographer from Calcutta. She is always up for a good story, travelling, new music, strong coffee and the company of crows. A self-proclaimed beauty hunter, she also curates her own daily newsletter of art, poetry and music called The Alipore Post.

Rahul Jhaveri is the Chief Technology Officer for Art & Found. His extensive experience in web and app development over 8 years and constant endeavour to push the boundaries in code and design makes him the techie who gets shit done.

Mentors and Advisors

Nisha John completed her postgraduate degree in advertising and marketing and joined advertising agencies like MAA Bozell and O&M where she worked with some of the best creative talents around. In the year 2005 she moved to London, a melting pot of cultures where she was exposed to design styles from various countries noticing that the perception of Indian art and design was still ridden with clichés. She is the founder of Of Indian Origin with the aim to showcase to the world what Indian design and art really look like today.

Piali Syam is the director of Cancer Patients Aid Association which holds the annual 'Colours of Life' art exhibition in Mumbai showcasing the top Indian artists to a clientele of serious art collectors.

Saloni Doshi is the Founder and Director of Space118 - a studio residency in Mumbai for artists from all over the world.

Ameya Dias is ex-curator and marketing lead at Volte Gallery - one of the top art galleries in Mumbai.

Mekhala Dave is legal counsel and curator at Vadehra Art Gallery in Delhi.

How are we different?

Strong brand presence, Design, Online+Offline, Highest commission for artists, Artist dashboard, Personal curator for buyers. We are different from everything else out there and an important change for the audience we’re going after. While others in the market are focusing on merchandising of art, we're looking into a category that is yet untapped.
