Team Summary

Of the 7 people in our team, 5 of our staff work primarily in the kitchen. While they are not formally trained cooks, each of them has experience working in a home kitchen and they have been completely trained in Parsi cooking by the management.

Yezdi Darukhanawalla, the Chief Operating Officer at Bawi Bride Kitchen is a part of the management team and comes with 12 years of operations experience. He previously was based in Singapore where he has managed a team of 15 staff and 50 vendors across 8 countries in the South-East Asian region. He is also an avid Parsi food lover and brings a wealth of experience when it comes to menu design as well as execution.

Perzen, the Founder and Chief Tasting Officer is formally trained in Hospitality Management and Marketing. She has 6 years of experience in catering, events and communications management and has previously curated menus and catered for events of 100+ people. Perzen's blog, BawiBride.com has also been awarded India's Best Regional Food Blog Award in 2014 & 2015 by the Food Bloggers Association.

Going forward, we wish to expand Bawi Bride Kitchen by establishing a central kitchen and launching a chain of homely cafe’s serving authentic Parsi food primarily in Mumbai’ suburbs.
