Blank Slate Entertainment Venture Fund is founded and headed by Avinash Shankar, who brought the 2014 Olivier Award Winning Comedy "Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense" for a limited engagement of just 6 shows to Mumbai in January 2016 - the first time that a mainstream theatrical production from London's West End performed in India. With ticket sales in excess of INR 1.93 crores for these 6 shows in Mumbai, Avinash took the play to Chennai and Bangalore in November 2016. And in April 2017, Avinash brought Ultimate Elton And The Rocket Band, the ultimate tribute band to Sir Elton John to India for a tour of 5 cities.
