Job Description
LetsVenture is India’s premier platform for Startup & VC investments.

Our Angel investing platform has enabled 135 companies to raise $50M since 2014. Our portfolio has gone on to raise follow-on funding from Sequoia, Matrix, SAIF, IDG among others.

We are now looking to expand our LV Growth team to enable Series A and B for growth stage startups which pass our curation criteria. LetsVenture is creating value in this segment by bringing all the sources of capital for such growth stage startups - apart from VCs, LV has built exclusive access to family offices, Corporates and funds across Singapore, Middle East, Japan and China.

The LV Growth platform is pioneering the aggregation of a diverse set of investors beyond VCs who bring domain expertise, business acumen, market access and networks along with their capital.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop proprietary understanding and view of the market to identify high quality growth stage deals
  • Evaluate and analyze the companies to ensure they meet LV's curation criteria
  • Provide inputs to the Product team to improve the platform matching and investor experience
  • Work closely with the VC and Family Office Relations team to syndicate deals 
  • Manage the Due-Diligence and Paperwork closure for deals with the help of relevant team

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Excellent analytical and due-diligence capabilities to vet startups
  • Deep understanding and passion for Startups & Venture Capital
  • Collaborative mindset to work together with internal teams and external partners to build the platform business (This role is very different from individual-centric investment banking roles, as the focus is on building a scalable platform whose dependancy on the deal manager is minimized)

Executives with prior experience in Investment Banking or PE/VC firms would be highly preferred.

We have recently forayed into creating a private and exclusive platform for family offices to access LP investments into select VC Funds from across Silicon Valley, Israel and India, as well as direct investment opportunities into growth stage companies. This is a pioneering platform to bring a diverse set of UHNIs who bring domain expertise, business acumen and networks along with their capital.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Connect with Family Offices and UHNIs (with net worth of INR 250+ Cr) and onboard them to LV’s private Family Office platform
  • Manage LV’s relations with Family Offices across India - frequent travel necessary
  • Educate the Family Offices about the LetsVenture platform and the Startup & VC asset class
  • Organize exclusive dinners and forums for 20-25 UHNIs in various cities (Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata etc)
  • Work closely with the Deal Sourcing team, to take curated deals to relevant Family Offices

Skills Required

  1. Excellent communication and social skills
  2. High energy, and ability to travel as necessary
  3. Understanding of UHNIs and general awareness of financial markets and products
  4. Deep understanding and passion for Startups & Venture Capital landscape in India

Executives with prior experience in Investment Banking, Wealth Management or PE/VC firms would be highly preferred.
