Team Summary

The core team consists of 5 members Arpit, Piyush, Soumya, Anand and Sanchit. Four team members are MBA graduates from Lal Bahadaur Shastri Institute of Management, New Delhi, while Sanchit is a B.Tech Graduate from NIT Kurukshetra. Arpit and Piyush have experience of managing 2 online fashion brands in the past. Arpit has also worked with L&T Finance in Salesforce Effectiveness and Piyush has worked with Birlasoft in Presales, Marketing, and Alliances. Anand has previously handled seller acquisition for Snapdeal and understands the pain points which sellers face when selling online. Soumya has worked with a large international retailer in the HR domain and understands the metrics and the problems brands face in offline retail. Sanchit has worked in the core product development of well funded startups like Jugnoo and InstaLively and has experience in building scalable technologies with exposure to full stack development.

Orangepick is a mobile first omni-channel fashion discovery platform which aims to be a suggestion/search engine for fashion. The objective is to make people more fashion aware and help them DISCOVER the latest fashion, nearby stores, and trends by providing them access to actionable information and a network of fashion enthusiasts.

The basic premise is to curate the best fashion and let the user know where to find it, irrespective of the channel through which it is available, i.e online or offline..

From a brand's perspective, the platform aims to function as a ready-made mobile omni-channel solution as well as a cost-effective digital marketing solution with the highest ROI, through which it can help users discover fashion from that brand across multiple channels.

Orangepick also encourages peer-to-peer fashion discovery among users through style suggestions. The idea is to build machine learning algorithms to fire up automated personalized responses to a user's style search.
