Amit Basu - CTO

Amit was formerly the Director of R&D @Schneider Electric India ($30B+). Even though he’s built and led large teams that developed Schneider’s award-winning technologies, Amit loves leading from the front. In fact, he codes faster than most folks type emails. He’s kept himself on the cutting edge of web and mobile technologies, is also a voracious reader, an avid traveller and occasional magician.

Piki is a mobile app that solves the long lead times of running surveys by getting quick and dirty results in hours instead of weeks to help businesses make exponentially faster decisions that affect their bottomline.


How are we different?

We have a strong focus on building a panel by offering an entertaining, incentivized app to users. The app lets users create and play quizzes among themselves, and when they answer surveys, it puts money into users' mobile wallets, dramatically increasing the willingness to respond and reducing the time-horizon of getting results back.
