ReferHire is a global peer to peer social hiring network. Our strategic thesis is that in a hyper competitive world for good talent, companies will need to hunt for talent as a team rather than it remain HR’s sole responsibility.

The “Sourcing process” (i.e. Job and Candidate matching) will evolve to a peer to peer model, rather than continue being restricted to the current HR- Candidate interaction model facilitated by Job Boards today. The existing HR – Candidate interaction model is responsible for creating a number of transparency and process inefficiencies due to the recruiting team being a bottleneck in the Sourcing process, thus creating a sub-optimal experience for hiring managers and job seekers alike.

This means that the traditional Job Board model is getting phased out on a global basis. Since they comprise the biggest market segment, this phasing out creates significant opportunities for newer product models to come up and acquire market share.
