Subir Batra
BE (Hons) BITS Pilani, MBA IIM Bangalore
Subir has close to 20 years experience in the industry, split between the US and India. He has been a consultant to, and worked closely with, the leadership of many blue-chip companies, including some in the healthcare sector. He has held senior and influential industry positions like Vice-President at ICICI, Director at KPMG and Head of Strategy, MetLife India. Subir is also the founder of SafeOps Surgical Care, a company dealing with surgical disposables, which has, in a short period of 2 yrs, become a well-recognized brand in this space.

Alpesh Patel
BE (NIT, Rourkela), MBA SPJIMR, Mumbai
Alpesh has close to 20 years experience, largely as a business consultant. He has advised over fifty Indian, global companies and governments in Financial Services, Information Technology, FMCG and Energy sector. He has advised corporate clients in areas like Marketing Strategy, E-Commerce, new business setup, Information Technology Strategy, Growth strategy, Cost Reduction and Business Transformation. Alpesh is a published author and an occasional public speaker.
Alpesh has worked with reputed multinational companies like KPMG, Ernst&Young, Oracle and was Director at Deloitte in Mumbai.

SafeConsults is a pioneer in providing telehealth solutions in India. Our aim is to ensure access to convenient and affordable healthcare to all. Our telemedicine app allows patients and local doctors to connect and consult with experienced and specialist doctors using video or audio in real time

How are we different?

Our business model is somewhat different from that of other firms in the tele-medicine space - instead of going direct to patients, we have started by taking the services of city-based specialist doctors to patients in smaller towns through local general practitioners. The advantages include

1. Serious queries and increased effectiveness of the diagnosis - better word-of-mouth
2. High quality, engaged doctor network - increased service quality and trust
3. Charge doctors a monthly plus per consultation fee - faster path to profitability
4. Ensure patient-doctor proximity as not all consultations can be done virtually
