Team Summary

Graduate from University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in Economics and Finance. Rashi has worked with Ernst&Young in the US and India for 2 years before she ventured into the startup world. She was the founding team member of Unamia (Kidswear clothing portal), which got funded by AngelPrime and after that she founded Zapyle - C2C marketplace for fashion conscious women in India. She belongs to the Millennial generation and has a deep understanding of this generation. She believes strongly about collaborative/social culture - To pitch/market to this generation one needs to talk in their language which is her strength.

Zapyle is a 100% mobile app, which is a simple idea to discover, sell and buy fashion. Just take your closet online one picture at a time in an Instagram like fashion. Point and shoot with your phone that luxury bag you don’t use or those shoes you don’t wear anymore and in a second it’s available for the world to see and buy.

How are we different?

We believe buying fashion is not about searching items but collecting memories. A fashion item is always related to a date, a trip, a birthday, a mood, an occasion, or a conversation with a friend. So, it’s not about searching an item, it is always first about people and conversations.
