Track 1: Angel Funding
We encourage every early stage startup looking to raise angel funding between $50k to $1.5Mn to apply. For LetsIgnite 2016, 15 finalists from the 1100+ startups that applied got a chance to pitch to 300+ Angel investors and VCs. Last year, 8 startups successfully raised funds 3 months after the event and in 2015, 35% of finalists closed their rounds post LetsIgnite.Once submitted, your application will go through 4 rounds of curation. Finalists from each round will be notified via e-mail or phone.
Round1
Applications open for LetsIgnite from 15th Dec 2016 to 15th Jan 2017
Time: 31 days, 15th Dec 2016 to 15th Jan 2017
Process: The top 30% of all applications will be handpicked by the LetsVenture Curation team. Startups will be selected based on the profiles they submit, so make sure your application is complete and up to date!
Round2
Time: 11 Days, 20th January 2017 to 31st January 2017
Process: Round 1 finalists will then be reviewed by 200+ Angel Investors from across India. Finalists from this round will be invited to Delhi/ Mumbai/ Bengaluru/ Kolkata to pitch their startups to Investors for Round 3.
Round3
Time: 10 Days, Feb 1st 2017 to Feb 10th 2017.
Process: Selected startups will get an opportunity to pitch in front of a jury of 5-10 angel investors. The jury will then pick the strongest startups to send to Round 4.
Round4
Time: 20 Days, Feb 10th 2017 to March 10th 2017
Top 30-40 startups from Round 3 will be invited to pitch to leads in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore to match them with lead/anchor investors.
At #LetsIgnite2017, top 15 startups will pitch with their lead investors.
Track 2: Growth Stage Startups
LetsIgnite helps successfully funded or late stage startups by connecting them to right VCs (VC Connect), B2B customers (Customer Connect) and relevant corporate development teams for founders looking at merger and acquisition opportunities (M&A Connect). Startups need to complete only 1 application (for Track 2) to apply for VC connect or customer connect or mergers and acquisitions or all three. Note that this form is different from the form for Track 1.
Round1:
Applications open on 23rd December 2016.
Time: 23rd December 2016 to 23rd Feb 2017.
Process: The LetsVenture Curation team will select startups based on the profiles they submit, so make sure your application is complete and up to date!
Round2:
Selected Startups will be invited to Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad/Chennai and Bangalore for VC Connect.
Time: 23rd Feb 2017 to March 18th 2017 (LI*)
Process: Finalised startups will have to opportunity to have a closed door session with VCs/B2B customers / M&A Connects they matched with.
* VC Connect in Bangalore will be happening during LetsIgnite. Rest will be happening in Mumbai, Hyderabad/Chennai and Delhi.
